Jacek Boczar (b. 1986) — graduate of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Katowice and the Academy of Photography in Kraków. He is passionate about creating experimental photography, employing various processing methods — he develops original projects in portrait and staged photography, refining his craft in analogue photography and gum bichromate printing and collage.
Achievements
His work has received recognition in numerous nationwide photography competitions, including Grand Prix of the 23rd Photography Biennale in Photographic Techniques and Digital Image Processing REMIS in Ostrów Wielkopolski, as well as Grand Prix of the National Competition of the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute O!Znaki Pracy in Warsaw.

His work has been exhibited in dozens of exhibitions across Poland (including Katowice, Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław, Świdnica, Warsaw, Gdynia, Tychy) as well as internationally:
- Exhibition at Harada no Mori Museum in Kobe (Japan) — selected works of members of the Łódź Photographic Society.
- Polish-Ukrainian Project "Letters to the Future" — Municipal Art Gallery in Sumy (Ukraine) and Wilanów Cultural Centre.
- Jubilee Photographic Mural in Świdnica — design and execution of an urban mural celebrating the 40th Świdnica Photography Days.
- Foto-Gen Gallery in Wrocław — ZPAF Lower Silesian Branch exhibition "Limited Presence" and 20th Anniversary of ZPAF Gallery.
- Solo exhibitions: "A Day in the Life of a Mime" (Działdowo Castle, Mogilno), "Who Would Have Thought?" (Katowice), "Doll Factory" (Wojnów).

Education & activity
Graduate of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Katowice and the Academy of Photography in Kraków. Member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (Lower Silesian branch) and of the Tychy and Łódź Photographic Societies. From an early age he documented large-scale events for the Municipal Cultural Centre in Tychy, collaborated with the Katowice branch of Gazeta Wyborcza, and his photographs appeared in Dziennik Zachodni, Angora and Górnośląski Informator Kulturalny. He conducted creative photography workshops during the Kazimierz Photographic Spring in Kazimierz Dolny, collage workshops at the Visual Arts Gallery in Łódź, and classes for the Academy of Slow Management as part of the Culture Pro programme in Kraków.
